Track 1 was recorded on March 18, 1990 at Calle Pulido on Brett's 4-track (thanks Brett!). Tracks 2 & 3 were recorded live, straight to cassette with the aid of the SQD-1 sequencer, in February of 1989 at The Islands. Tracks 4-20 were recorded live, straight to cassette, again, with the aid of "The Squid" in the summer of 1988 at Hines House. On tracks 2-20, reverb was added by running the whole mix through a guitar amp, thus the springy and distorted sound. Some of the effect was smoothed out during re-mastering, but alas, there are limits. Flanging, choursing & delay were added using guitar pedals. Chris sang on all songs except 2 and 20 (obviously). Chris played guitar on tracks 1-4, 7, 8, 11-18. Chris played bass and John played guitar on tracks 5, 9, 19 & 20. John also played bass on track 4. Craig sometimes played, but mostly programmed, the keyboards and drums on all tracks. Equipment: Roland Juno-106, Sequential Circuits Six-Trak, Ensoniq Mirage, Casio CZ-101 & Roland TR-707. Mychele sang on track 2 and played guitar on track 3.
